  1. Judaism is uncommon in India, but there is a nice synagogue in Pune.

  2. There are several differetnt hindu calenders. In 1957 there was a calender convention which created the calender followed by the government, that is why baisakhi is allways on april 13. Not sure if it was a good thing or bad thing.
