Well, what I think I’m saying is that if this leads to the creation of an Asia-wide bond market in the longer term, then it could be very interesting, and very worthwhile.

The costs/time/resources would outweigh the benefits. If this is just going to be an indicator of exchange rates at best, I don't see a need for it. Shouldn't dollar look-up enough as it is in vogue?
