The Indian Economy Blog is looking for new contributors

IEB has become the most popular blog on Indian economic issues in the short time it’s been around, and our posts manage to find their way to all sorts of interesting places.

Not bad for an all-volunteer effort, even if we say so ourselves.

Currently, we’re facing a resource crunch — many of the IEB contibutors are swamped, with work and/or personal matters.

Hence, we’re looking for new contributors to IEB.

Your profile: You are an economist/ writer/ blogger, who’s written about India and/ or economics, and the material is accessible online. Our contributors hail from a dozen cities across the world, so location is not an issue. Writing ability and knowledge of India’s economy, however, are absolutely critical.

You could opt to be a “regular” contributor (weekly posts) or a guest (more sporadic posts). We’re flexible – can work posting specs that work for both sides.

If you’re interested, please ping me at prashant-at-stringinfo-dot-com, with links to your blogs/ written material.

  7. [...] The most pressing challenge facing this blog has been the lack of time, which is inevitable for an all-volunteer effort. All of us have day jobs and such like, but we do what we can. Let me insert a little plug here — if you’re interested in blogging on IEB, please ping me. [...]

  9. Would love to post (very) sporadically. However, can’t say I’ve written too much about Economics so far. My blog(s), though relatively old, are mostly personal stuff with tidbits about marketing, economy and society thrown in.

  12. I am a business consultant, catering to business needs to develop socially responsible compliance structure to maintain sustainability. Therefore I have a vested interest in reading about economics and especially Indian economy wit respect to global economy, besides India’s role in it for now and twenty years from now. I am an avid reader of Economist, economic times and various trade journals to see where India/china and rest of the world fits. Having spent may years in various parts of the globe outside of India, immigration, quality of human resource, human resource development and human trap/white collar slavery/intellectual property are topics of interest to me. I love to write and would like to contribute if you are still inviting contribution at this time.

I am glad someone has started a blog which should speak to lots of issues that go on to make an economic perspective and the challenges faced by the country/financial structures and the society at large.

I am a Ph.D, MBA with business policy & change management experience , discharging leadership roles in ITES BPO/Envtl./medical-
pharma-chemical, and business development background in NGO/NPO from concept to implementation.

Please contact if you have a preference on researching particular issues.

    Best regards
