We could put our national interests in jeopardy if LTTE is able to get good attacks on valuable cargo through that canal. Essentially it is an unsafe route. For me environmental damage of the dredging through the corals and continental shelf looks a very problematic one too. So, in every it is a stupid project that needs to be skuttled.
